"Senozols" - male vocal ensemble
About the collective
The male vocal ensemble “Senozols” was founded in 1962. Over the years, the leaders have been Maseļunas, Māra Skride, Ēriks Derums, Valdis Čukurs. Since 1994 it has been directed by Aldis Andersons together with Egil Norbutas. Their repertoire includes original songs by various composers, including compositions by Aldis Andersons, pop songs, song arrangements, as well as folk song settings. The ensemble has recorded three CDs. At present, 8 men sing with the leaders. “Senozol has an active concert career, they have performed in Lithuania, Estonia and various parts of Latvia. Singers with good voices are welcome.
