The Strazdumuiža Club has been operating since 1963 and is the main cultural centre in Riga for people with visual impairments. It regularly organises various cultural and entertainment events, including concerts by vocal ensembles, choirs, brass bands and dance groups, poetry and theatre performances, as well as events dedicated to anniversaries or charity campaigns. Various guest artists are often invited, and other types of events take place.

Today, the club has 8 amateur arts groups. The club is filled with a choir, 3 vocal ensembles, a vocal-instrumental ensemble and a brass band, with dancers’ steps. Here, theatre actors make the audience cry and laugh.
Amateur arts groups are always looking for new members who enjoy spending their free time, developing their talents and bringing joy to others.
