"Epsilons" - vocal-instrumental ensemble

About the collective

The popular music group or vocal-instrumental ensemble “Epsilons” was founded in 1969. The group has not only gained recognition at popular music festivals for the blind in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, but is also a favourite at our own club social events for its music, inexhaustible humour and optimism.

Its membership and leadership have changed several times over the years. The first leader was Mareks Dolgicers, then Ivars Mazurs led the group for many years. Now the leader is Dailonis Ezeriņš, the group consists of 6 members, the oldest of whom are Vladimirs Krops and Dailonis Ezeriņš, who sing and play in “Epsilon”.

The repertoire mainly includes songs by Vladimir Krops. There are also popular songs by both Latvian and foreign composers. “Epsilon has 3 albums – one cassette, two CDs. The musicians give concerts and play at various events in Latvia and beyond. In the past, they have also toured various parts of the Soviet Union.
