Krathogn is the Thai festival of Light and River, during which lotus flowers are made and released into the water. The workshop will give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artistic process of creating and decorating their own Krathong. It will guide you step by step through the creation of these exquisite floating lanterns. sharing insights into the cultural and historical significance of this ancient tradition.
The workshop will be an inspiring and practical experience, while fostering a deeper appreciation of the beauty of Thai culture. It will enable participants to actively participate in the upcoming Light and River Festival, prepare and Visit your Krathong in the water.
The workshop is led by Luxnai, a volunteer from Thailand. Luxnai will show you how to make and decorate beautiful lotus flowers using simple techniques.
