HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE MAGAZINE
To subscribe to the magazine, the editorial office must receive a completed application form or a free-form application from the person with a visual impairment or their legal representative, stating:
- Name,
- personal code,
- home address,
- phone number or email address
- the chosen journal format,
- the delivery address of the magazine (if different from your home address),
- the date of completion of the application and the client’s signature attesting to the accuracy of the information provided,
- if the application is submitted by a legal representative, the type of representation, name, personal identification number, residential address, telephone number or e-mail address of the representative must also be indicated.

- at the editorial office of the magazine in Riga, Braila iela 3, 2nd floor,
- in every territorial organisation of the LNB,
- at the Tiflotechnics Department of the National Library of Latvia in Riga, Braila iela 3, 1st floor,
- SIA “LNB Rehabilitācijas centrs” in Riga, Braila iela 8 and branches throughout Latvia.

- You can also leave your application at the nearest LNB territorial organisation.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
The procedure for receiving this service is determined by:
– Cabinet Regulation No 250“Procedure for the Latvian Society of the Blind and the Latvian Association of the Deaf to provide social rehabilitation services and technical aids – tiflotehnika and surdotehnika“,
– Law on Social Services and Social Assistance,
– Law on Disability,
– Contract on the Delegated Tasks of State Administration concluded between the Latvian Society of the Blind and the Ministry of Welfare.
Processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of interdepartmental agreements between the Latvian Society of the Blind and:
– Office for Citizenship and Migration Affairs,
– State Commission for Health and Work Capacity Examination of Doctors.
For the quality of the service, the following are respected:
– Law on the Processing of Personal Data,
– Law on Compulsory Copies,
– Copyright Law,
– Postal Law.
The transfer of the journal’s archive to the National Library of Latvia is governed by an agreement between the library and the Latvian Society of the Blind
OTHER INFORMATION
- The application for Rosme must be filled in again each year. The application for the following year starts on 1 November of the current year. You can apply for the current year in any month of the current year.
- Readers can subscribe to only one format of the magazine.

The service is provided by the Publishing Department of the Latvian Association of the Blind.
The archive of the magazine “Rosme” (since 1957) is created by the Latvian Society of the Blind and collected by the National Library of Latvia. Braille copies are held by the Latvian Library for the Blind.
