The Cēsis Territorial Organisation of the Latvian Society of the Blind – founded on 2 September 1953 as the Cēsis City and District Branch of the Latvian Society of the Blind, with 13 members – visually impaired. The first chairman is Arnolds Kūlītis. In 1984, the Cēsis Interdistrict Organisation of the LNB was established, with 505 members and the 5th pre-organisation – the Chairperson of the Board Silvija Ozola.
Currently, the Cēsis TO of the LNB has 161 members. The work of the organisation is managed by a board of 5 members: chair Irēna Lāce, vice-chair Zaiga Liepiņa, board members Aija Rīvīte, Inga Kravale and Normunds Dupužs. Cēsis TO cares for people with visual impairments in the Vidzeme region.
